We’ve been receiving quite a few requests from our Clients to develop and release new extensions for Magento that would extend their Magento web stores and give them additional functionality that their stores need, but are not a part of the standard Magento distribution. After going through the most popular requests, we’ve set ourselves on a task to develop a new generation of Magento extensions that would allow our customers to have their Magento stores work exactly the way they want them to, using our extensions for Magento. Our Product Personalization Extension for Magento allows you to offer your clients an easy way to personalize the design elements of the products they are buying on your Magento web store.
How does this work? It’s quite simple. Our Product Personalization Extension allows you to create a simple customization form, which will have the form fields of your choice, and attach that form on your products that support the personalization options. Once a Customer browses a certain product on your web store that has the Personalization Form enabled, he can enter the personalization values and add the product to the shop cart and continue shopping. Once the Customer decides to proceed to checkout, he will have the option to review the personalization values that he entered just before he enters the checkout process. After the checkout process has been completed, you will see the personalization values that he entered in your Sale Orders section of your Magento administration. You can then personalize the product your Customer purchased before sending them.

By combining these form fields you can create a customization form that would absolutely fit your Magento store, and that would cover all the customization options that you are ready to offer to your Customers. You can also set the form fields to be mandatory or not, just in case you are selling products that cannot be purchased without Customers personalization such as personal engraving or gift card message… More admin options are available for administering the Product Personalization extension, so please be sure to take a look at the screenshots to get the better picture of what the administration side of the extension looks like.
